Carley - Hairdressing NVQ Level 1

I chose to come to Peterborough Regional College to study hairdressing because I've always wanted to be a hairdresser. My aspirations at the start of the courses were to learn the skills and techniques required to take me to the next level of study.

When I've completed the next level, I plan to work in a salon, with my long-term aim being to manage my own salon once I'm a bit more experienced.

I've found the practical aspect of the course fine, but the coursework theory side has been a struggle. But the tutorial support to overcome this has been brilliant.

I would recommend the course to others, but your heart needs to be in it to succeed.
