“I enjoyed my time at school but I felt that I wanted a change. I chose to come to Peterborough Regional College because you get treated like an adult and the course I wanted to do was only available at Peterborough.

I wanted to study on the NVQ Level 2 Business and Administration course because it was interesting and you get more than one qualification that will help with getting a good job. I’m now coming to the end of my course and looking to either stay on to do an apprenticeship or get a full time job.

I was very shy when I started, but now I am a lot more confident. I am glad that I came to PRC because being at College has given me lots of confidence and skills I didn’t know I had. I have also made many new friend.”

Felicity is also one of 650 students that come into PRC on a College bus everyday.

“I don’t mind, I’ve got to know the people on the bus, so if I’m not chatting with them I’m catching up on my sleep. The bus picks me up near my house and drops us by the Eastfield road entrance, so it’s pretty straight forward really.”
